Office of Applied Science

The Office of Applied Science generates research with useful applications for our program partners within the Division of Fish, Wildlife and Parks. We conduct a broad range of work at the species and landscape level. Our research and consulting services supply the DNR and our stakeholders with objective, applied scientific information to support their decision making and to inform Wisconsinites about their natural resources.

Research is funded primarily by state, federal and nongovernmental grant funding to implement and complete priority research activities and transfer information to managers, policymakers and administrators.
