Wisconsin Deer Metrics System

Welcome to the Wisconsin Deer Metrics System. Deer metrics are information that is used to measure or evaluate various aspects of deer management. This system will allow you to easily and efficiently find deer metric information for the county of your choice. The most up-to-date information is provided on deer harvest figures, population trends, deer impacts on agriculture and forest resources, deer herd health and deer hunter dynamics. This detailed information provides a unique opportunity to get an inside look at how the department manages Wisconsin’s wildlife. Department staff encourage you to use these metrics to become more involved in deer management where you live or hunt, whether through County Deer Advisory Councils or the Deer Management Assistance Program. Thank you for your continued interest in Wisconsin’s deer management program.
