High capacity well ownership transfer

No department review or approval is required to transfer ownership of a high capacity well along with a property transfer.

Within 90 days following a property transfer, the new owner must complete the High Capacity Well & Surface Water Withdrawal System Ownership Change (Form 3300-266) [PDF] and submit to the DNR.
