DNR Fisheries AreasBlack River Fishery Area

The Department of Natural Resources owns roughly 8 acres of forested wetlands considered "Areas of Special Natural Resource Interest" (ASNRI) along the Black River in Clark County.


The fishery area along the Black River is located in Clark County, Longwood Township; T 28N, R 2W, section 20.


Angling opportunities

Shore, wading, and boat access for warmwater fish species - (walleye, smallmouth bass, muskellunge, rough fish, etc.) Statewide fishing regulations apply for all species except minimum size limit for muskellunge is 40 inches.
