Let’s talk about where your community or county is on their sustainability journey and see how we may further support your efforts.   • Adopt a Resolution

After connecting with Green Tier staff and learning more about the network, the next step for a community or county interested in joining is to pass a resolution with their city or county board stating their intention to join the Green Tier Legacy Communities Network. A sample resolution is included in this packet and available digitally upon request.

  • Baseline

Once a community has adopted their resolution, we assist you to benchmark your environmental performance using the Sustainability Strategies Scoresheet, a list of ever evolving best management practices – included in this packet and available digitally upon request. The Scoresheet allows members to track growth since entering the program and provides metrics to report out on environmental efforts.

  • Engage

Once a member, A community or county is committing to engaging the network, sharing successes, resources and even barriers they may encounter. Members submit an annual report highlighting their environmental performance and commit to engaging with peers at members meetings. A sample Annual Report Template is included in this packet and available digitally upon request. Communities and counties truly get out what they put into the network.How will you leverage the network?
