Maintaining cooperating forester status

To maintain cooperating forester status you must complete and submit the following requirements by the annual deadline.

By July 1 of each year, each cooperating forester (individual, company or business) must to the following:.

Reporting forms will be sent to each cooperating forester by email in May of each year (if the cooperating forester does not have an email address, the forms will be sent by mail). Participating businesses and companies may submit one stumpage value report and accomplishment report. Each individual cooperating forester must complete and submit a continuing education tracking sheet. Any changes in information will be included in the next quarterly update of the Directory of Foresters.

Cooperating foresters who wish to write management plans for Managed Forest Law properties must complete the required training to become a certified plan writer (CPW).
