Maintaining cooperating forester status

To maintain cooperating forester status you must complete and submit the following requirements by the annual deadline.

By July 1 of each year, each firm must do the following.

Note: These forms will be sent to each cooperating forester firm by email in May (if the firm does not have an email these will be sent by mail). Only one stumpage value report and accomplishment report is required per firm. Every individual cooperating forester must complete and submit a continuing education tracking sheet. Firms submitting these forms after Nov. 1 will not be included in the annual Directory of Foresters.

To write plans for Managed Forest Law (MFL) properties, a forester must be trained and certified as a certified plan writer.
