Log in now

Log in now to apply for air permits. Advantages of applying online include:

  • a secure application process, and
  • the ability to save applications online prior to submitting for future edits or review by others.

There are two ways to apply for air permits:

  1. apply online through a secure process; or
  2. fill out an Adobe PDF, Microsoft Word or paper copy form.

How to apply online

The DNR's Air Program is working to make all air permit applications available online. Currently, simple air pollution control operation permit renewals can be applied for through the DNR Switchboard (the department's secure eBusiness portal). To apply for all other permits, please use the forms on our air permit and compliance forms page.

To use the online system, a unique WAMS ID is needed, as well as access to Air Permit Actions. See step-by-step instructions on how to sign up for a WAMS ID [PDF] and how to obtain access to Air Permit Actions [PDF].
