Water Guard - Deputy Conservation Wardens

Water Guards are Deputy Conservation Wardens who work in Limited Term Employment (LTE) positions for the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). They perform law enforcement duties to protect Wisconsin’s lakes, rivers and waterways; with their main efforts aimed at ensuring compliance with Wisconsin’s laws relating to preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species and aquatic diseases.
