General Waterbody Restrictions
Catch and release fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass is open year round unless otherwise noted.
Motor Trolling is allowed with up to 3 hooks, baits, or lures, per angler.

Trout and salmon March 12, 2022 to April 29, 2022 No minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is 3, special season for youth and disabled.
Trout and salmon April 30, 2022 to March 10, 2022 No minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is 3.
Urban waters gamefish (largemouth and smallmouth bass, muskellunge and hybrids, northern pike and walleye, sauger and hybrids) March 12, 2022 to April 29, 2022 No minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is 1, special season for youth and disabled.
Urban waters gamefish (largemouth and smallmouth bass, muskellunge and hybrids, northern pike and walleye, sauger and hybrids) April 30, 2022 to March 10, 2022 No minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is 1.
Catfish Open All Year No minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is 10.
Panfish (bluegill, pumpkinseed, sunfish, crappie and yellow perch) March 12, 2022 to April 29, 2022 No minimum length limit and the daily bag limit is 10, special season for youth and disabled; panfish regulations for urban waters include bullheads.

Shovelnose sturgeon Closed No fishing allowed.
White perch Open All Year The daily bag limit is 0, one may be killed and possessed for transport to a wdnr office.
