Detailed information: The DNR is submitting this SIP revision to the U.S. EPA as required by the federal Clean Air Act (CAA). This SIP requests EPA to approve Wisconsin's SIP Administrative Order AM-20-01 relating to the Insinkerator facility located at 5612 95th Avenue, Kenosha, Wisconsin. This order establishes permanent and enforceable emission limits, among other requirements, on this facility to ensure the facility remains in compliance with the latest federal volatile organic compound (VOC) reasonably available control technology (RACT) requirements. Submittal of this administrative order into the SIP is necessary for the state to demonstrate it has fulfilled all Clean Air Act requirements needed to redesignate the Wisconsin portion of the Chicago-Naperville (IL-IN-WI) 2008 8-hour ozone nonattainment area (i.e., the eastern part of Kenosha County) to attainment for that standard.
