Mosquito Munchers Drop-in

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Activities: Arts and Crafts, Children's program, Drop-in Program, Educational Programs, Nature study
Location: Roche-A-Cri SP

Drop in between 10 a.m. and noon at the playground by the park office. What's all that buzzing about? Why do they like me more than my friends? Learn answers to these questions and more. Become a mosquito and race your friends.

Roche-A-Cri SP information

Roche-A-Cri State Park, established in 1948, protects a 300-foot-high rock outcropping and Native American petroglyphs and pictographs. The name "Roche-A-Cri" comes from French words meaning "crevice in the rock." The park has 41 rustic campsites and five miles of hiking trails within a forest of large oaks and pines. Carter Creek in the park offers fishing opportunities.

Fall Festival

Join the Friends of Roche-A-Cri for an afternoon of family fun to celebrate the end of a busy park season. Have s'mores by the campfire, create art, go on a scavenger hunt, play games, go on a hayride and enjoy the fall colors! Free park admission today. The park is still open for camping this weekend and camping rates apply.
