Seeds - They're Everywhere!

1023 days old

Time: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Activities: Hike, Outdoor activity, Plant study
Location: Kohler-Andrae SP

Have you ever wondered how wild plants manage to survive and propagate? This family-friendly hike will reveal some seed dispersal strategies including how they co-opt our sometimes unwitting and even unwilling help! This hour-long hike led by Naturalist Lily Bormet will start on a musical note with a song she just wrote for the occasion: "Fruit & Berries, Nuts & Seeds". Meet at Parking Lot 8 near the enclosed shelter to walk the Woodland Dunes Trail. Children must be accompanied by an adult. No pets allowed on this hike.
