Turtle River Pursuit

If you want to come and enjoy a place of serenity and tranquility come to the Mecca ski trails and enjoy two days of racing with exhilarating competitors. Or for the first-time racer or skier try the family friendly Claire D' Loon Classic Tour. The Wisconsin DNR Turtle Flambeau Scenic Waters Area partners with their local ski group; MECCA ski club. The club grooms skate & classic skiing and snow shoe loops that partially fall on the DNR's Little Turtle Trail on the Little Turtle Flowage, Mercer, WI. MECCA is hosting their annual Turtle River Pursuit on Feb. 15-16. This will be a 11K Classic Leg (Feb. 15) and an 11K Freestyle Leg (Feb. 16). There will also be a NEW Claire D' Loon 5K Classic Tour on Saturday Feb. 15.
