Learn to Fish - Ice Fishing

Come join Ranger Justin as he teaches the tips and tricks to pick the perfect spot on the ice, the proper gear to take out, and answers to any other ice fishing questions. The Pike Lake Sportsman Club will assist in the day's activities. This event is open to participants over the age of 10, perfect for any new or first-time anglers. Today is the start of catching a lifetime of memories! Meet at the Beach. This is a free event (no fishing license required on winter Free Fishing Weekend).

Kettle Moraine SF - Pike Lake Unit information

The Pike Lake Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest is in the middle of the Kettle Moraine, a strip of glacial landforms which extends through southeastern Wisconsin to Lake Winnebago. The forest is named after the 522-acre, spring-fed kettle: Pike Lake. Powder Hill, a large glacial kame, provides the opportunity for a great hike and view. Visitors can enjoy camping, swimming, hiking, fishing, picnicking, and much more within the forest.
