October Illuminated Night Hike

11 days old

Time: 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Activities: Candlelight events, Hike, Night event, Walk
Location: Big Foot Beach SP

Put on your favorite Halloween Costume, and join us for a lighted night hike through the paths of Big Foot Beach State Park. Treats & Drinks will be served, along with beautiful views! Bonfire to follow hike, weather permitting. Candlelight events are very popular at DNR properties, with some attracting thousands of visitors on a given night. Given the recent publicity of these events access to the park may be restricted at times when parking capacity has been reached. Parking inside the park is limited! The park has a total of 180 parking stalls; at this time there is a lot of interest in the event. There is a possibility we will fill all spots. Carpooling is encouraged. Parking for cars and pickup trucks only - no trailers, bus or RV parking. There is no roadside parking in the surrounding area. A 2019 Wisconsin State Park annual sticker or a $5 Special Event stickers are required. All cars attempting to enter after our parking capacity has been met (200 cars) will be turned away, please carpool. Halloween costumes are not required, but there will be a "best costume" prize after the hike! This is some fun, non-scary Halloween fun for the whole family! *Donations welcome (to support the Friends of Big Foot Beach State Park).
