Extreme Saturday Morning: Up in the Air, Under your Feet, and Everything In Between

Calling all youth to come and explore the extremes of nature by participating in the Wisconsin Explorers program! The program involves completing a required number of activities in one of three age appropriate books (ages 3-5, ages 6-8, ages 9+) to earn a very cool patch. Get started with the help of a Wisconsin Master Naturalist. You never know what we might find! Meet at the Wood's Lake Beach.

Governor Thompson SP information

Governor Thompson State Park was established in 2000, the Wisconsin State Park System's centennial year. With more than 2,800 acres of woods, a family campground, picnic area on Woods Lake, skiing and hiking trails, and six miles of shoreline on the Caldron Falls Flowage, visitors will find an atmosphere that is perfect for solitude, reflection, and recreation.
