Insects and Diseases in our Trees

Linda Williams, the DNR Forest Health Specialist located in Woodruff, will be discussing insect and disease issues on trees in the Northwoods. Come learn about emerald ash borer, spruce budworm, oak wilt, needle diseases on spruce, and so much more cool stuff! Meet at the Crystal Lake Nature Center.


Northern Highland American Legion (NHAL) SF information

Established in 1925 to protect the headwaters of the Wisconsin, Flambeau and Manitowish rivers, the Northern Highland American Legion (NHAL) State Forest occupies more than 232,000 acres in northern Wisconsin. The forest provides employment and economic support to rural and urban communities through the production of forest products, recreation and tourism.
