Hike the Echo Rock and Ishnala Trail
136 days old
Time: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Activities: Geology, Hike, Outdoor activity Location: Mirror Lake SP
Travel back in time on this 2.4-mile hike to learn how Mirror Lake was formed. Explore the wildflowers, smell the fresh pine trees, walk through the cool Ishnala Gorge. Learn about the human history of the park, who lived in and around the park, before it was a park. Let's see if we can find some cool bugs and creatures and birds as well. If there is light rain, we will still go. If there is heavy rain and/or lightning, we will cancel. Meet at Echo Rock trailhead at the top of the boat landing parking lot.

Mirror Lake SP information
This park is named for its centerpiece, a lake which often is so Locationcalm that not a ripple marks its surface. The lake reflects a wooded shoreline with cliffs up to 50 feet high, a swimming beach, and wetlands that are home to a variety of wildlife. The park's 2,200 acres includes several picnic areas, wooded campsites, summer rentals, and a cabin for people with disabilities.
Note: Event dates and times are subject to change or cancellation. Please verify event status, dates and times prior to attendance. Some events, such as candlelight skis/hikes are very popular, and access to these events may be restricted at times when parking capacity has been reached.
