Join DNR Staff at Jackson Marsh Wildlife Area in Washington County as we enjoy all that nature offers us. Let's go for a hike and look for flowers, animals, birds, insects, and anything else that we can find. Leashed dogs are allowed on this hike, provided they RSVP. Dress for the weather; hiking boots are recommended. Program is free and open to the public. RSVP to for specific meeting location.


Jackson Marsh Wildlife Area information

Jackson Marsh Wildlife Area is a 2,312 acre property located in eastern Washington County north of Hwy 60. Find it from the intersection of Highways 45 and Highway 60 near the Village of Jackson, go east on Highway 60 three miles, then north on County Highway G which bisects the Wildlife Area. The property is comprised mostly of forested wetland surrounded by grasslands, croplands, scattered ponds and wetlands, feeder streams, and small woodlots.
