Sponsored by Friends of the Kettle Moraine

Native pollinators from bees to butterflies are an amazingly diverse and vital group of organisms. Join Thelma Heidel-Baker, Insect Conservation Specialist, as she covers pollinator biology and what that means for protecting these insects. Hear about the issues surrounding pollinators as well as ways you can create pollinator habitat in your own backyard. Learn a bit more about some special Wisconsin pollinators that need our help, like the endangered rusty patched bumble bee. This program is most appropriate for people over the age of 8 years old. Location: Ice Age Visitor Center (located off Hwy 67 half mile west of Dundee)
