The Forest Naturalist will share what owls call Wisconsin home and their preferred habitats. Then head out in the night to call and listen for resident owls of the Northern Unit. This program is most appropriate for people over the age of 8 years old. Location: Mauthe Lake Recreation Area Picnic Shelter (located off County Road GGG south of County Road SS near New Prospect)

Kettle Moraine SF - Northern Unit information

The Kettle Moraine Northern Unit is comprised of about 30,000 acres stretching 30 miles across Sheboygan, Fond du Lac and Washington Counties. The forest is managed for multiple use, including recreation management, sustainable forest products, water quality and soil protection, terrestrial and aquatic wildlife, native biological diversity and aesthetics.
