Detailed information: The Wild Turkey Advisory Committee is meeting to discuss harvest from fall 2019, and spring 2020 and set bonus harvest authorization levels for fall 2020. Green Tier Public Informational Meeting

Detailed information: The DNR Sustainability and Business Support Section will hold a public information meeting concerning the proposed participation contract of Inpro Corporation, Muskego, into Tier 2 of Green Tier. Inpro has a robust sustainability program to improve environmental impacts by setting goals and ensuring continual improvement as they work toward superior environmental performance. At this time, Inpro is not requesting any regulatory flexibility in their contract. A copy of the proposed contract [PDF] is available on the Green Tier pages of DNR website. Due to state measures being implemented to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, this hearing will be held via Skype, rather than in person. This webinar will 1) overview the stream monitoring methods used for development of the North East Lakeshore Total Maximum Daily Limit project and 2) provide a summary of the impaired waterbodies and stream monitoring data for each of the three major drainage basins in the project area. Detailed information: The purpose of this meeting is to make recommendations to the NR 151 rule modification and develop a targeted performance standard to abate nitrate pollution in areas of the state with highly permeable soils which are susceptible to groundwater contamination (sensitive areas) for the purpose of achieving compliance with the nitrate groundwater standards. The rule revisions will define sensitive areas in the state and the performance standards needed to protect surface and groundwater quality in these areas.
