7/19/17 â GM LLC submitted the Phase II ESA Addendum No 2 to the WDNR and City of Janesville, which included updated soil and groundwater data evaluation that incorporated new Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS) toxicity values for benzo(a)pyrene, and an oral cancer value for naphthalene. A hard copy was made available in the Hedberg Public Library.
9/28/17 â GM LLC submitted the Remedial Action Options Report (RAOR) to the WDNR and City of Janesville. This RAOR was prepared for certain discharges to the Rock River in the vicinity of Outfall 010 of the Former GM LLC Janesville Assembly Plant Tracking System (BRRTS) Number (#) 02-54-577951. This Report documents the evaluation and selection of remedial action options feasible for the Site in the vicinity of the Rock River at the outflow of the stormwater sewer pipe located north of the GM LLC Assembly Facility, and north of the electrical substation. The RAOR was accepted by the WDNR in a letter dated November 10, 2017. A hard copy of the RAOR was made available in the Hedberg Public Library.
10/24/17 â GM LLC, GHD, Ramboll, and Exponent, and Environmental Liability Transfer (ELT)/Commercial Development Company (CDC) held a meeting with the WDNR in Janesville, to introduce ELT and CDC as the future Siteâs owner and to provide a summary of status for the GM LLC Assembly Facility, Former Haul Away Yard, and Rock River. The Site was officially sold on Thursday, December 21, 2017.
