Keep Wildlife Wild Presentation

842 days old

Time: 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Activities: Educational Programs, Wildlife conservation, Wildlife study
Location: Kettle Moraine SF - Southern Unit
Location Map: Map of event location

Presented by the Wildlife In Need Center, this program will cover basic tenets of why we need to Keep Wildlife Wild. As well as what to do if we come across sick, injured or orphaned wildlife - which is especially important, with spring approaching and many people finding young, wild animals. While some animals may need the skilled care of a licensed wildlife rehabilitator, many are healthy and should be left alone. We'll discuss differences among species, ways we can help, and also meet two animals who had been kidnapped out of wild: an Ornate Box Turtle (endangered species) and Wildlife Educational Ambassador Dakota, the Great Horned Owl. Meet at the Forest Headquarters.

This free program is suitable for ages 12 and older, and seats are limited to the first 60 people who sign up. To sign up for this event, please call the Wildlife In Need Center at (262) 965-3090.
