Brule River Candlelight Ski and Snowshoe

71 days old

Time: 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Activities: Candlelight events, Cross country ski, Night event, Outdoor activity, Snowshoeing
Location: Brule River SF

Candles will light 5 kilometers of the After Hours Ski Trails including part of the snowshoe trail. Grills, picnic tables and a bonfire will be provided. Trail passes are not required for this event, which is sponsored by the Brule River State Forest with volunteer assistance from the Brule Valley Ski Club [exit DNR].

Candlelight skis/hikes are very popular events at DNR properties, with some attracting thousands of visitors on a given night. Given the recent publicity of these events through social media outlets and the department's responsibility to provide a safe recreational experience, access to these events may be restricted at times when parking capacity has been reached. Thank you for helping make these events a success.
