Bats! Presentation and Bat House Workshop

Bats are an often misunderstood creature of the night. Jennifer Redell, DNR bat specialist, will bring her bats to help present the facts and fiction of this incredible creature. If you have not seen a bat up close - you do not want to miss this opportunity! A Bat House Construction Workshop will follow the presentation, beginning about 2 p.m. Registration is required for the workshop.

If you would like to construct a bat house after the presentation, please contact the park at 715-483-3747 to sign up for a kit (Cost is $10 for supplies) before Wednesday, September 20. Bring a Philips head screwdriver and your kit fee on September 30. Held at the Ice Age Center.

Interstate is Wisconsin's oldest state park, established in 1900.
