2nd Annual Family Event: co‐sponsored by the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF). Join us as we explore many different ways to enjoy the out of doors. Some of the Activities: Duck Decoy Carving, Canoeing or Kayaking, Outdoor Cooking, Geocaching, Nat'l Wild


Mead Wildlife Area Center information

The Stanton W. Mead Education and Visitor Center is a 6,208 square foot education and administration facility designed as an example of sustainable and environmentally-responsible construction. One of the goals of the Mead Wildlife Area is to provide wildlife and environmental programs to the citizens of Wisconsin. These programs help to foster a sense of environmental stewardship, that through education we can achieve a better understanding of the values and issues of our wildlife and natural resources.
