Solving the Mysteries of Hibernation Evening with Nature Program

Many animals spend the winter hibernating to avoid the season's hardships. Join Hannah V. Carey, Ph.D. , Professor of Comparative Biosciences and Director of Biotron Laboratory at UW-Madison,as she explains the mysteries of hibernation and the new discoveries made by scientists. She will share how these findings may benefit humans. This program is most appropriate for people over the age of 10 years old. Location: Ice Age Visitor Center (located off Hwy 67 half mile west of Dundee)


Kettle Moraine SF - Northern Unit information

The Kettle Moraine Northern Unit is comprised of about 30,000 acres stretching 30 miles across Sheboygan, Fond du Lac and Washington Counties. The forest is managed for multiple use, including recreation management, sustainable forest products, water quality and soil protection, terrestrial and aquatic wildlife, native biological diversity and aesthetics.
