Work Play Earth Day - Celebrate EARTH DAY by volunteering at your State Parks!

Merrick State Park will be participating in the state-wide Work/Play Earth Day event with support from the Merrick T.U.R.T.L.E.S. Volunteers will assist with park cleanup, planting trees, painting picnic tables, splitting firewood, and pulling garlic mustard. Volunteers should wear work shoes/boots, long pants and gloves. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please meet at the main park office. A small meal will be served after the event. For more information, please call 608-687-4936.

Merrick SP information
Located along the lazy Mississippi River and surrounded by the hills of Wisconsin's Coulee Region, the 322-acre Merrick State Park is popular with anglers and boaters. The marshy backwaters are home to a variety of fish, birds, animals and plants. Rising and falling river levels, though controlled some by dams, are part of the natural environment.
