The Spirit of Christmas Past

Celebrate and learn about Christmas, when it became an American tradition and how it would have been celebrated during different periods of Wisconsin's early history at Heritage Hill. Enjoy:

  • Sounds of the seasons from local musicians
  • Dance to the beat of historic music
  • Oversee in the historic kitchens as they prepare Christmas meals
  • Hot chocolate, hot apple cider, and holiday treats
  • Listen to an old fashioned Christmas story
  • Children's Christmas craft keepsake
  • Meet Old World Santa for a treat and family photo
  • Horse-drawn wagon rides from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ($2 per person).

Heritage Hill State Historical Park is operated by the non-profit Heritage Hill Corporation and a per-person admission to the park is charged. Tickets can be purchased in advance online.

Heritage Hill SP information

Experience "living history" at this 48-acre, outdoor museum in Green Bay. The park features 25 structures from Wisconsin's past - the fur trade in 1762, Fort Howard in 1836, small towns in 1871, and ethnic farms in 1905.
