Cranes, Herons and Egrets: The Elegance of our Tallest Birds

669 days old

Time: 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Activities: Birding, Educational Programs, Nature study
Location: Interstate SP

Join us at the Ice Age Center for a special presentation by author, naturalist, and wildlife photographer, Stan Tekiela! He has written over 100 field guides and has made numerous audio CDs to help people identify birds (or frogs) by their calls. Here at Interstate Park we happen to have our own blue heron rookery, so this will be a great way to learn more about our long-legged friends.
