Fall Bird Hike

506 days old

Time: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Activities: Birding, Hike, Outdoor activity, Wildlife study
Location: Tichigan Wildlife Area

Although spring is generally known for songbird migration, those same birds are migrating south at the end of summer. Join DNR staff at Tichigan Wildlife Area in Racine County as we try to identify some of our fall birds passing through during migration. Some binoculars will be available, if requested prior to hike. Dress for the weather. A bright hat and/or shirt is recommended, as various hunting seasons are going on at this time. Dogs are NOT allowed on this hike. Program is free and open to the public.
