A Stroll Through Time: Geology & History at Copper Falls

Location: Copper Falls SP

Travel through time for a look back at the park's origins, from ancient geology, to the CCC camps of the 30's, to today. Join the park's naturalist for amazing stories and a walk down memory lane along the Doughboy's trail. Meet at the naturalist cabin. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Sorry, no pets, please.

Copper Falls SP information

Ancient lava flows, deep gorges, and spectacular waterfalls make Copper Falls one of Wisconsin's most scenic parks. Log buildings built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s add to the park's charm. There is plenty to do; hiking, bicycling, picnicking, fishing and swimming. The North Country National Scenic Trail passes through Copper Falls State Park.
