Falcons of the Driftless

478 days old

Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Activities: Educational Programs, Outdoor skills, Wildlife study
Location: Kinnickinnic SP

This will be a great "all ages" opportunity to learn about these amazing native birds. Children are welcome, and don't forget your camera! How fast can a falcon fly? What makes them different from an owl or an eagle? What does it take to become a falconer? Bring your questions and curiosity about raptors! Abbey Krumrie is a Winona native and graduated from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point with a B.S. in Biology. She was a staff member at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, and then spent the last 4 years as Director of Education at the Raptor Education Group in Antigo, WI. She has recently moved back to our area, where she and her husband hope someday to start a raptor center. Come meet her and enjoy this fun and educational program.
