Like to Hike: Nicolet Trail via "Shanty Bay"

164 days old

Time: 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Activities: Birding, Hike, Outdoor activity, Plant study, Walk
Location: Peninsula SP

A sawmill, fishing shanties, and a summer estate were part of the beach landscape one hundred years ago. Enjoy Peninsula stories while walking along a beach and forest trail. Watch for waterfowl, too. Bring binoculars if you have them. Counts as a Like to Hike activity. Moderate hiking, about a mile, trail may be muddy. Meet at Nicolet Beach.
