Nature Photos with a Naturalist

The flowers in bloom are constantly changing through the summer. Bring your camera or smartphone to take pictures of the Milwaukee skyline, Lake Michigan, and many of our native plants and animals as you walk through the park with one of our Naturalists. Learn some tips to taking close ups of insects, and which places are most often photographed in the park. Free program. All ages welcome. Meet at the North Entrance.

In the heart of downtown Milwaukee, Lakeshore State Park provides a unique urban oasis with recreational and educational opportunities geared to the urban population. Lakeshore State Park offers great views of the city and Lake Michigan and has a reservable, overnight boat slip.
