Celebrate EARTH DAY 2018 by volunteering at your Wisconsin State Parks, Forests, Trails and Recreation Areas!

Volunteers are needed to help get the park ready for another busy season. All ages and skill levels are welcome; your willing heart and hands are all that is required. Bring work gloves, lopping shears, pruners, hand saws or whatever else you may want to bring. Lunch will be provided. Meet at the park maintenance shop.

Newport SP information

Newport State Park, northeast of Ellison Bay, is Wisconsin's only formally-designated wilderness park. With 2,373 acres and 11 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline, the park offers quiet alternatives to bustling Door County. Explore 30 miles of hiking trails with hike-in campsites. There are evergreen and hardwood forests, wetlands and upland meadows.
