Hourly Rate: Between $10.50 - $12.00 per hour depending on experience and training.

Duration: Job starts approximately April 3, 2017

Job Description: Facilities Repair Worker-LTE

70% Perform facility maintenance improvement projects. Perform minor repairs to water and electrical systems. Operate and maintain equipment. Assist with training and directing less experienced maintenance staff.

30% Mow grass, pick up litter, clean public use areas. Haul garbage. Paint buildings, grills and picnic tables. Maintain restrooms, campfire rings and picnic grills. Remove trees and brush. Fill and grade parks road, patch blacktop and maintain culverts and shoulders.

Knowledge Required: Knowledge and skills in general and preventative maintenance duties including janitorial, grounds work, and painting. Previous park and grounds maintenance and custodial experience required. Experience using hand and power tools including chain saws. Exhibit effective written and oral communication skills. Training or experience in vehicle operations including 4-wheel drive trucks, tractors, and dump trucks. Heavy lifting is required. Must be a self-starter who is punctual and can work independently as well as with co-workers.

Due to equipment usage, you must have a valid operator's license, a minimum of two years licensed driving experience and must be at least 18 years of age.
