Wisconsin River TMDL Monitoring Below Castle Rock July- Dec 2013 CO_07_CMP13B

Purpose

To allow for budgetary consderation of the funds needed to complete monitoring for the portion of the Wisconsin River TMDL between Castle Rock dam and the Prairie du Sac dam.

Objective

The primary goal of the study is to provide calibration data for two main deliverables: a phosphorus loading model for the Wisconsin River upstream of the Prairie du Sac dam, and lake response models for Lake DuBay, Petenwell, Castle Rock, and Lake Wisconsin. Seperate funding has been allocated to the project for work above the Castle Rock dam.

Outcome

To complete monitoring for the portion of the Wisconsin River TMDL between Castle Rock dam and the Prairie du Sac dam.

Study Design

Overall study design detailed elsewhere. This funding is to cover operation of 3 USGS gages, 6 river water chemisty sites for load calculation and 3 reservoir sites.
