Trapping regulations

A summary of Wisconsin's trapping laws and how they affect you are contained in the pamphlets listed below.

CORRECTION: A document previously posted to the Wisconsin DNR website incorrectly listed the measurements for a colony trap in Wisconsin.

The CORRECT wording of the colony trap measurements is as follows:

Overall length can not exceed 36 inches and height and width cannot exceed 6 inches (outside measurement). If using a round trap, the diameter cannot exceed 6 inches. (Traps can be round, square or rectangular).
