Family campgrounds

The Wisconsin Ridge and Homestead campgrounds have 109 regular campsites, 33 with electricity. A dumping station for camper holding tanks is near the entrance to the Homestead campground.

Outdoor group camp

The outdoor group camp has 5 sites with a capacity of 130 persons. The outdoor group camp is near the Wisconsin Ridge campground.

Hugh Harper indoor group camp

The Hugh Harper indoor group camp is a modern facility designed for organized groups. The facility consists of a lodge with a full, commercial kitchen, dining area, and a recreation room. The kitchen is equipped with a gas range (two ovens, six burners and a griddle), large refrigerator and freezer, microwave, commercial dishwasher, coffee maker, and all cooking and eating utensils.

Four dormitories with a capacity of 108 people are included. Each dormitory has two bathrooms complete with showers, flush toilets and sinks. A sand volleyball court and softball field is located adjacent to the lodge. A large fire ring and amphitheater is located between the dormitories and lodge. A large charcoal grill is available just outside the kitchen.

Reservations can be made up to a year in advance by submitting a group camp application to the park. There is a minimum two-night stay on weekends. We encourage the listing of alternate dates, as the camp is a popular facility. The Hugh Harper Group Camp opens in early April and closes at the end of October. Pets are not allowed on the grounds at the indoor group camp or in the buildings.

Firewood

Firewood notice: Due to the potential of carrying harmful tree pests and diseases, firewood from out of state or from more than 25 miles away is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park or Forest properties. Also, firewood that has been in the Wisconsin emerald ash borer quarantined area is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood at or near the park or forest where you are going. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline, 1-877-303-WOOD (1-877-303-9663) for information before packing for a trip. For more information, see firewood facts, rules and advice or ask the park or forest office. Maps are available to view the 25-mile radius of allowable firewood on state properties.

Firewood may be purchased at the park concession stand in season.
