Construction of a new shower/flush toilet building in the family campground at Council Grounds State Park is underway. Campers should expect construction activity in the campground until the building is completed in late June 2024. During construction of the building, flush toilets and showers will not be available, however, vault toilets and potable water will still be in service. Both the family and group campgrounds will open May 1, and the sanitary dump station is expected to open on May 15, 2024.
Campers must have a reservation before setting up on any site. Same-day reservations are available. Reserve a campsite online or by calling 1-888-947-2757.
Park Office
The park office hours are posted on the window. If the office is closed when you arrive, please self-register for vehicle admission stickers as needed outside the office. Annual stickers bought via self-registration may be picked up later that day if the office is open or will be mailed to you at the address you provide.
