Wyalusing State Park Current conditions

Road Closure Notice, Aug. 14-15: Long Valley Road at Wyalusing State Park will be closed from about 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Monday, August 14 and Tuesday, August 15 in order for the contractor to clean out culverts and haul away debris.

Homestead Campground Notice: There may be temporary interruptions of water and electrical service to the Homestead Campground during construction.


All trails at Wyalusing State Park are open.


The park is celebrating its centennial year and we hope to make it a great one with programs scheduled throughout the summer. Check at the park for information about kids programs, informational stands, guided hikes and canoe trips or see the DNR Events Calendar for a list of events at Wyalusing and other state parks.

Starsplitters [exit DNR] programs take place at the Lawrence Huser Astronomy Center in the park.


Don't move firewood!

Don't move firewood!Due to the potential of carrying harmful tree pests and diseases, Wisconsin has restrictions for moving firewood.

The park has had lots of camping reservations, and walk-in campers.

Camping reservations for outdoor campsites can be made online or by calling 888-947-2757.


The concession stand is open daily through Labor Day weekend. Canoe and kayak rentals are available.

The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Each vehicle parking in the park must have a vehicle admission sticker. If the office is not staffed, please use the self-registration station just past the drive-up window at the park office.
