Tower Hill State Park Current conditions

The main gate is closed, but visitors may park at the entrance and walk in to the park for hiking and picnicking. There is no camping during the off season.

Campground

The park campground is closed for the season. All buildings (including the shot tower) and water systems are shut down until spring 2018.

Hunting

Hunting seasons in Tower Hill State Park include:

  • Archery deer - Oct. 15 to Jan. 7, 2018
  • Small game - Nov. 15 to Dec. 15
  • Gun deer - Nov. 18-26
  • Muzzleloader deer - Nov. 27 - Dec. 6
  • Antlerless-only deer Dec. 7-11

Shelter

The enclosed shelter at Tower Hill is available for rent. Please contact Governor Dodge State Park for availability and reservation information at 608-935-2315.

A valid vehicle admission sticker is required. A self-registration box is available near the park office if staff is not available.
