Trails

Trails are in good condition.

When the office is closed, please self-register. Free park admission and free fishing is coming up this Saturday and Sunday, June 6th and 7th.

No food, pets or drinks are allowed on the stairway. Users are restricted to the stairway and it is open from 6 am to sunset but not maintained for winter use.

Camping

Don't move firewood!

Don't move firewood!Due to the potential of carrying harmful tree pests and diseases, Wisconsin has restrictions for moving firewood.

As of June 28th there are still reservable sites for the July 4th weekend and 3 non-reservable sites.

Hunting

The park is open for the first 3 periods of spring turkey hunting and is in zone 3. Check out the hunting map online or on a bulletin board. Youth turkey hunt is April 11-12.

Events

Looking for camp hosts for the summer and fall!

Warmer weather is melting snow off trails and roads. Trails may be muddy with thawing ground.Mark your calendars for the annual work and play day, Saturday, May 2nd from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Lunch is provided, bring gloves, wear sturdy shoes and bring rakes. Call 608-565-2789 to sign up.

The 2015 photo contest has started!

GPS units are available to check out at the park office. Horseshoes and volleyballs are available to check out and use at the mound shelter.

Looking to help out the park?  Ask for a trash bag for pulling garlic mustard in the campground area.
