Roche-A-Cri State Park Current conditions

Conditions as of Monday, September 28, 2015:


The campground and main gate will be closed October 12th. Parking will be in the winter lot on Czech Ave and park stickers will still be required.


Trails are in good condition. No food, pets or drinks are allowed on the stairway. Users must keep on the stairway to protect the fragile ecosystem of the bluff. The stairway is open from 6 a.m. to sunset.


Hunting is not allowed in the park until November 15.


Don't move firewood!

Don't move firewood!Due to the potential of carrying harmful tree pests and diseases, Wisconsin has restrictions for moving firewood.

Following the Labor Day weekend, all campsites are now first-come, first-served.

Camping fees have changed. Please check out the poster on the bulletin board when self-registering.


The 2015 photo contest will end Sept. 30. Send in your best photos before then!

Join us for the Fall Festival on October 3rd from 1-5 p.m. Play games, hike, go on a hayride to see the start of fall colors. 2 p.m. rock art talk at the petroglyphs by Geri Schrab.

GPS units are available to check out at the park office. Horseshoes and volleyballs are available to check out and use at the mound shelter.
