Conditions as of Friday, May 24, 2013:
Trails are in good condition. Mosquitoes are here so remember to bring bug spray and thermocells.

See the DNR Events Calendar for a list of events at Roche-A-Cri and other state parks. Spring is a great time to take photos for the 20th annual photo contest.
All campsites are open. The dump station is open and water fountains are turned on.
Firewood notice: Due to the potential of carrying harmful tree pests and diseases, firewood from out of state or from more than 25 miles away is not allowed on Wisconsin State Park or Forest properties. Also, firewood that has been in the Wisconsin emerald ash borer quarantined area is not allowed on properties outside of the quarantined area. Please buy firewood at or near the park or forest where you are going. Call the DNR toll-free Firewood Hotline, 1-877-303-WOOD (1-877-303-9663) for information before packing for a trip. For more information, see firewood facts, rules and advice or ask the park or forest office. Maps are available to view the 25-mile radius of allowable firewood on state properties.
The picnic shelter is available to rent. Contact the park office if interested. If the office is closed, you must self-register for stickers in the office parking lot or the prairie lot.
Friendship Lake is less than one mile south of the park and has a public swimming beach.
Check out the ecobox by the kiosk picnic shelter. GPS units are available to check out for geocaching in the park. The Friends of Roche-A-Cri are always looking for new members.
