Roche-A-Cri State Park Current conditions

The main gate and campground are closed for the season. Parking is available in the winter/prairie lot on Czech Ave. There is a vault toilet and the parking lot is plowed in winter. A vehicle admission sticker is required and a self-registration station is available.

Stairway

The stairway is open from 6 a.m. to sunset. Please remember no food, pets or drinks are allowed on the stairway. Users must keep on the stairway to protect the fragile ecosystem of the bluff.

Camping

The campground is closed for the season.

Don't move firewood!

Don't move firewood!Due to the potential of carrying harmful tree pests and diseases, Wisconsin has restrictions for moving firewood.

Reservations can be made online.

Hunting

Hunting and trapping in the state park do not start until Nov. 15. Maps of areas open and closed are available online or at the park office.

More information

A vehicle admission sticker is required year-round. When the park office is closed, use the self-registration station to buy admission stickers. Any annual sticker purchases will be mailed to you. If you self-register for an annual sticker please submit a check with your address or print legibly on the envelope for accurate mailing.

In season, GPS units, horseshoes and volleyballs are available to check out at the park office. When the office is closed, please self-register for park admission and camping fees.
