Black bear

Application deadline for bear permits is always December 10.

Drawing for the 2013 permits will take place in early February 2013. Notifications to permit winners sent by mid-February.

Waterfowl

Application deadline for the Horicon zone goose season is always August 1.

Canada goose Early goose season Sept. 1 - 15
Season dates for waterfowl vary annually. Duck and regular season goose regulations will not be available until August after the Wisconsin Natural Resources Board meeting.

Wild turkey

Application deadline for turkey permits is always December 10 for spring and August 1 for fall.

Hunting protected species, such as badger, woodchuck, jackrabbit, moose and flying squirrel is prohibited.
