Sporting Heritage Council

The Sporting Heritage Council is the first of its kind to advise Governor Scott Walker, the Natural Resources Board and state legislature on fishing, hunting and trapping issues. Consisting of 12 appointees, the council will largely focus on recruitment, retention and increasing access to resources and outdoor opportunities.

The meeting is taking place at DNR central office located in downtown Madison, near the State Capitol, 101 S Webster St. in room G09. It is open to the public, however, there will be no opportunity for public input. Please refer to the Downtown City-Operated Parking map [exit DNR] as a guide for driving and parking near the building.
