La Crosse Area Comprehensive Fishery Area
Myric Park

Myric Park is a 22 acre mostly wetland property within the La Crosse Area Comprehensive Fishery Area in La Crosse County. It is adjacent to a 13 acre park, owned by the City of La Crosse. The City park includes a zoo with both indoor and outdoor exhibits, handicap accessible playground, fenced in dog park, restrooms, public shelters, Indian mounds, and a La Crosse River marsh trail system with Wildlife viewing platforms. The La Crosse Marsh Trail is linked to the adjacent Hixon Forest Nature Center trails.

Location/Directions

Myric Park is is located on La Crosse Street near the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse athletic fields; T 16N, R 7W, sections 28 and 33.

Objective
