If you are working on a demolition, construction or renovation project, there are several DNR programs you will want to work with.
- The Air Management Program implements the DNR's Asbestos Program, which reduces the public's possible asbestos exposure. These regulations require facility owners and/or operators involved in demolition and renovation activities to pre-inspect the affected facility, file proper notification and handle and dispose of asbestos properly.
- The Waste & Materials Management Program can help you determine how to manage construction and demolition (C&D) debris.
- The Environmental Management Division has information and permits you will need to consider, including storm water management and construction permits.
