Periodically, the Department of Natural Resources will issue press releases concerning fee simple land acquisition projects around Wisconsin for which Stewardship Program grant funding is being requested. These press releases satisfy the notice requirements of the Wisconsin Environmental Policy Act (WEPA) and ch. NR 150, Wis. Admin. Code, provide basic information about the proposed grant project, and indicate how interested parties may comment. These press releases also indicate the availability of nature-based outdoor activities in each project.
